i have never been so excited for new years eve - dinner with friends and two parties tonight - and i am sparkling - going to be a fun night!

edit: i think if you lit a match in my apartment right now the place would explode - so much aerosol - i have a headache.

goals for the evening:
1. don’t black out (ha. like that is going to happen)
2. find someone to kiss at midnight (i am going to a straight party and will likely be the only homo - so this one might be tough should be interesting)
3. horrify at least 3 straight boys with my dancing to lady gaga (this will definitely happen)
4. sparkle (glitter hairspray will help me with this)

today was a great day off museuming and now off to dinner in old town with friends!
off to halo after a rough 2-hour day in the office (which included lunch) and a quick run at the gym!
so FREAKIN' excited for NYE
so i’ve never gone to a big new year’s eve party before - never really done the bar thing - my only notable fun nyes have been quiet (sometimes) dinners out with friends.

just spent the last 4 hours replacing my macbook pro hard drive and restoring it from the time machine backup.

over 200 gigs of free drive space (i was down to 5mb of free space before!)

D.C. Council Affirms Vote to Legalize Same-Sex... →
The D.C. Council today passed historic legislation that legalizes same-sex marriage in the District of Columbia. The bill was approved 11-2 on a second vote, and now goes to D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty’s desk for his signature. The mayor has promised to sign the bill.
